Accounts Receivable Specialist with Bookkeeping and QuickBooks Experience

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist with bookkeeping and QuickBooks experience to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoice creation, sending, and management.
• Contact late and delinquent customers to settle outstanding arrears.
• Conduct thorough record-keeping of all accounts receivable transactions and ensure accuracy in billing and documentation.
• Process incoming payments, track late payments, and perform account reconciliations.
• Engage in effective communication with clients regarding billing discrepancies, unpaid invoices, and negotiate payment plans as needed.
• Prepare regular reports on the status of accounts receivable and contribute to cash flow management.
• Resolve payment disputes and discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal guidelines in all invoicing and collection processes.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to improve customer satisfaction related to billing issues.
• Perform bookkeeping duties, including maintaining accurate financial records and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.
• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, ensuring proficiency in the software.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable and general bookkeeping.
• Strong experience and proficiency in QuickBooks.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
