As a Medical Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the medical staff and ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and checking in patients, ensuring accurate patient information is obtained
- Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient inquiries
- Assisting medical staff in preparing examination rooms and maintaining cleanliness
- Processing patient documentation, including medical records and insurance forms
- Handling billing and insurance-related tasks
- Providing exceptional customer service and addressing patient concerns
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Preferable Certificate in Medical Office Administration
- Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and insurance documentation
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong work ethic and dedication to providing quality patient care
