Title: Warehouse Supervisor – 2nd or 3rd shift opening – 105876

Your Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Supervisor at the Grimsby Regional Distribution Centre, you will be responsible for the supervision of full-time and seasonal warehouse staff on your assigned shift (10:00 AM EST to 6:30 PM EST or 3:30 PM EST to Midnight) to ensure all safety, productivity, quality and operational execution goals are achieved. In addition, you will:
Supervise semi/highly skilled production employees on an assigned shift to ensure product delivery within established safety, quality, and productivity expectations; allocate work to a team of subordinates and review completion.
Responsible for achieving departmental goals & objectives; respond to personal objectives and use performance management systems to improve personal performance; monitor the performance of the team; provide coaching to team members to develop their skills.
Be the first-line liaison between the production employees and the management staff and thus also serve the function of representing the company’s interests with the shop floor staff.
Follow the organization’s health, safety & environment policies, procedures, and instructions; instruct the team in safe working methods; identify instances of risky behaviors within the team and take appropriate action.
Contribute to the preparation of various data and analytics reports.
What Skills You Need
3+ years of experience in an operations environment or similar experience, with a focus on maintaining/improving a safe work environment.
Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to balance conflicting priorities while delivering sustainable results.
