Structural Site Superintendent

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Site Superintendent to oversee the execution of construction projects, ensuring they adhere to safety standards, meet quality expectations, and stay within budget and schedule constraints. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of structural engineering principles.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of on-site construction activities, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Manage project resources efficiently, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Supervise and motivate construction teams, including subcontractors and site personnel, to maintain high levels of productivity and quality.
• Provide guidance and direction to ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any issues or deficiencies promptly.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety awareness among all site personnel.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
• Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and solutions.
• Identify potential risks and obstacles to project success and develop proactive solutions to mitigate them.
• Address any issues or conflicts that arise during construction promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role in structural construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles, construction methods, and building codes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• OSHA certification and familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
