Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Edmonton, AB. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing day-to-day full cycle accounting tasks. They will also analyze financial data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide support in financial reporting and analysis.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Sage 50 preffered)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA designation is preferred
- Experience in the energy industry is a plus
