Ezra’s mission is to detect cancer early for everyone.
We’ve created a comprehensive way to screen your body for potential cancer by offering imaging services such as a full-body MRI, Prostate MRI, 3D mammography and low-dose chest CT. Our scan services are available in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, and Sarasota. To date, we have scanned 1000+ people and detected possible cancer for 13% of them. We received FDA clearance for our MR image viewer and prostate AIs, which help support radiologists in analyzing prostate MRIs. We’re currently working towards new AI-based medical technology clearances that will improve the Ezra experience for our members.
Your Mission: As a Senior Full Stack Developer within our Medical Devices Development team, you will play a key role in developing products that help people to detect cancer early. You will be developing products such as a radiology report summarizer, MRI image quality controller, and other regulated medical software.
In addition, you will work with the Machine Learning, Product, Quality, and Regulatory teams to deliver on our ambitious roadmap for the year. You will be working in a small, fast-paced, detail-oriented team focused on bringing safe and effective devices to production.
As Ezra’s Senior Full Stack Developer for Medical Devices, you will:
- Contribute to early product planning such as risk assessment, infrastructure, and architecture design
- Design & develop cloud-native products used by our patients, physicians, and imaging partners
- Ensure the safety, responsiveness, scalability, and security of our products
- Assist in creating software documentation to support FDA submissions
Key requirements
- 3+ years experience with Python 3
- 5+ years experience working with JavaScript (ES6+) based one or more front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular), vanilla CSS, and at least one of the popular CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or Bulma) and commonly used front-end tooling, e.g. webpack
- 5+ years of experience working with two or more databases such MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis, and/or RabbitMQ
- Strong grasp of relational and non-relational databases, data storage services, schema design, and efficient retrieval
- Strong grasp of best practices for design documentation, coding styles, CI/CD, containers, and systems deployment
- Knowledge of systems design and software architecture (n-tier, microservices, etc.)
- Proven experience with AWS or other similar cloud platforms
- Experience mentoring junior developers
- Experience in deploying to all stages of the software development lifecycle
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and performance optimization skills
Nice to haves
- Experience developing medical devices and/or highly regulated environments is preferred
- Experience with ML-focused software
- Experience with ELK stack
