Partner Staffing Looking for Bookkeeper at Calgary, Alberta, Canada Full Time

We are currently looking for a bookkeeper based out of our Calgary office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency in financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Handle invoices, process payments, and track receivables. Ensure bills are paid on time and funds are collected promptly
• Manage employee payroll, including tax withholdings and benefit contributions
• Provide product information, pricing, and quotes to customers
• Process sales orders and track order status to ensure timely delivery
• Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable duties, including invoice generation, payment processing, and account reconciliation
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with budgeting activities

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
