Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Social Media & Community Engagement Intern at Bless. The intern will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to social media marketing, social media content creation, digital marketing, and communication. As a hybrid role, you will not only drive our social media presence but also engage with our community members to create meaningful connections. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about social media marketing and community building, interested in gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic startup environment. The role is located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, with flexibility for remote work.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation skills
  • Experience in Digital Marketing and Marketing
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to create engaging content for social media platforms
  • Knowledge of community engagement strategies
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with graphic design is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and executing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create compelling and engaging content for our social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor social media channels for trending topics and industry news to incorporate into content creation.
  • Engage with our community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Organize and participate in virtual and in-person community events to foster connections and promote the Bless platform.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement new ideas for social media campaigns and community initiatives.
  • Track and analyze social media metrics and community engagement to measure the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
