Part of the Taggart Group of Companies, Taggart Realty Management focuses on acquiring, developing, leasing and managing retail, residential, office and commercial property owned by the Taggart Group or owned in partnership with third party investors. Taggart Realty Management has a significant number of projects under its management and is growing the portfolio of income producing properties through development and acquisition. As we continue to grow our real estate portfolio, we are currently looking for candidates in the role of Accounting Manager to support the Controller directly in leading the financial processes of the properties under management.
Work DescriptionReporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for oversight of day-to-day and month/year-end accounting activities within the property management function. The Accounting Manager will act as a key resource to the various positions on the team, managing and supporting the property accountants and the accounts payable clerk. Additionally, the Accounting Manager will also be supporting the Controller in various improvement initiatives, and financial projects within Taggart Realty Management. The performance of duties requires an ability to manage priorities, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet filing deadlines.
