Field Marketing Specialist – Data Analytics

Job Summary
Altair seeks a marketing specialist who is passionate about scaling the growth of Altair’s regional marketing efforts to transform customer decision-making through the application of data analytics, simulation and high-performance computing throughout business lifecycles. The Field Marketing Specialist – Data Analytics will create, execute and measure the effectiveness of marketing programs for the US/Canada Data Analytics regional sales teams. This position works closely with key program stakeholders including solutions marketing, product marketing, global field marketing managers, sales enablement, regional sales and pre-sales teams. The primary objective of the role is being able understand key industry trends, strategic market opportunities and sales priorities to create, execute and report out on demand generation KPI’s through successful campaign execution including digital marketing, tradeshows, physical and virtual events, and third-party engagements.
The Field Marketing Specialist – Data Analytics will:
Partner with sales executives in defined region to build and execute marketing plans through an integrated marketing approach
Coordinate and report-out on demand generation marketing programs to grow sales pipeline for the sales organization across all relevant industry verticals
Coordinate global marketing campaigns and regional industry campaigns at the territory level across all industry verticals, with a focus on creating programs that can scale across regions and global zones
Nurture existing leads through digital content, events and other persona-appropriate marketing methods
Monitor and report-out on lead flow within the region to ensure the appropriate sales channels are receiving and following up on leads
Ability to clearly communicate and present to sales and other internal stakeholders on quarterly and annual marketing plans and report out on results
Coordinate regional program budget with direct manager; measure ROI of field marketing tactics through metrics analysis and reporting
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
2-5 years’ experience in marketing in B2B or B2C demand generation
Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred) and sales automation/CRM systems (Salesforce.com preferred)
Highly collaborative, detailed-oriented, strategic thinker, well organized, energetic and results-driven
Action-oriented and delivering quality work (consistently + strategically solid) within budget parameters
Ability to manage third-party vendors
