About The Role
WildBrain is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team! Reporting to Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will be completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
, Job Description
- Obtain approval for disbursements and ensure that expenditures are appropriately approvedand coded
- Onboard new vendors and manage vendor relationships
- Process vendor invoices
- Prepare wires and bank transfers
- Post and reconcile company payments to General Ledger
- Process employee expense reports and credit cards (in Concur)
- Monthly account reconciliationsand accruals
- Assist with audit/SOX requests
- Assist with tax filings as required
- Accounts Payable electronic filingand document retention
, Qualifications
- Demonstrates a Customer Service mindset
- Positive and professional attitude
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Understands basic accounting, tax, and foreign exchange concepts
- Experience with full cycle accounts payable
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a multi-currency, multi-entity environment
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- MS Great Plains experience an asset, not required
