Role:
Ensure reception area is neat and clean and exhibit an informed, professional approach with all customers
Answer body shop telephones and take messages, assist or make appointments for customers.
Approve and forward matched body shop orders and invoices to the Accounting Department on a timely basis
Prepare invoices and record amounts received
Collect payment from customers and issue receipts for goods and services
File company copies of body shop invoices.
Provide cash refunds or issue credit memorandum to customers for returned goods, as authorized by the manager
Record/balance totals shown on cash register tapes or computer records; ensure invoice amounts and payment methods correspond; verify cash on hand to float
Operate credit card machines; verify balances at end of day and advise manager immediately of any cash shortages.
Closeout customer and internal repair orders, as required, in a timely manner
Follow closeout procedures and final balancing at shift end
Perform any other duties as required
Excellent listening and communication skills
Requirements:
Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management expertise
Great communication, interpersonal skills and customer-oriented
Solid command of computers and Microsoft Office Programs
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Reception and cashier background.
Body Shop reception an asset
Knowledge of Manitoba Public Insurance processes an asset
