Your enthusiasm and knowledge will blend with our staff both at headquarters and in the field to ensure all departments are able to function without running into financial roadblocks. You will also assist in giving them the tools and data to properly manage their budgets. This will allow them to concentrate on creating magical experiences for our guests.

We are creators of a magical event called Enchant Christmas. We have hosted over three million guests over the past 5 years and have experienced significant growth. While Christmas is a big part of what we do, it is only the beginning of where we intend to go.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
Enter all payables into accounting system.
Collect all necessary documents needed to pay vendors.

Bank routing information
Bank account information
Certificates of insurance if applicable
Bank Feed – match cash disbursements in bank feed to accounts payable ledger.
Bank Feed – match all cash received in bank feed to accounts receivable ledger.
Respond/reply to all Payables@ and Receivables@ e-mails.
Create list of payables for weekly payment runs.
Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare monthly cash reconciliations for all bank accounts.
Make any/all edits to general ledger after it is reviewed by controller or accounting manager.
Review & verify all expenses on corporate cards.
Code all credit card expenses for entry into general ledger.
Review and verify all Expensify expense program entries and receipts.
Prepare Expensify entry for uploading into general ledger.
Review bank feed for Stripe vendor invoice deposits.
Prepare Stripe deposit entry and upload into general ledger.
Track private party contracts for payments.
Assist Department Heads, Regional Directors of Finance and Company Managers with any information requests.
Assist Controller in other projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
B.S. in Accounting or Finance from a four year university or equivalent degree or experience.
5+ years of experience in the accounting field.
An extensive knowledge of accounting including GL accounts, journal entries, expense recording, budgets and forecasts.
An understanding of budgets and how to monitor expenditures.
A hands-on, diverse approach to problem solving.
Self-directed, extremely meticulous and organized with an ability to manage a high level of multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent math skills and a high aptitude for figures.
Entertainment industry knowledge a plus.
Netsuite knowledge a plus.
Highly organized and strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Understanding of budget adherence.
Extensive knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.
Google suite knowledge a plus.
