KDC One Knowlton Looking for Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Longueuil, QC Full Time

The Corporate HR department is presently seeking one candidate for the position of Senior Human Resources Business Partner.

SUMMARY:
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner role works on developing company-wide HR solutions including various talent management program and standard HR policies to help support global operations across multiple countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia. The HRBP role will also have business partnership responsibility for the corporate group, including functions such as Finance, Legal, IT and Procurement. The position is based in Longueuil, Québec. Due to Covid-19 the incumbent will work from home until further notice and will report directly to the Vice president of Human Resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Work with HR and management teams to develop and implement HR strategy and plan in order to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results;
• Partner with business leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, recruitment, succession planning, and performance management;
• Partner with international HR team to work on standardizing some of the people practices in the areas of talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership Development, diversity and inclusion;
• Review and analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee engagement;
• Provide management coaching to build leadership capabilities;
• Develop HR and people management policies and procedures;
• Develop and implement employee recognition programs;
• Work with operations to assess, create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives;
• Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

• Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative;
• Demonstrated ability to coach managers and supervisors;
• Excellent written and verbal communication, in French and English;
• Proven ability to successfully work as a team member and to build and maintain a positive work environment across the network;
• Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities.

Basic qualifications and experience:

• Experience with MS Office Suite;
• Knowledge of employment laws;
• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the job;
• 8+ years of experience in a similar role.
