Lambton College Looking for Canadian Bio-Cleantech Applied Research Network (CBARN) Coordinator – I/O at Sarnia, ON Full Time

This position falls under the Initiative and Opportunity Letter of Understanding in the Support Staff Collective Agreement working 35 hours per week at an hourly rate of $28.28 reporting to the Associate Director, Research Operations. This position will commence May 2022 and end May 2024.

Specific Accountabilities:
Reporting to the Research Operations Associate Director and the CBARN manager, the candidate is the financial and operations coordinator, overseeing operations activities for the Canadian Bio-Cleantech Applied Research Network operations and coordinates provide support with coordination of the network’s activities with network partners fellow researchers, external partners, funding staff, and the office of research and innovation.
The coordinator will be responsible for collecting reports, managing budgets of the network, financial reporting to FedDev ON, performance reporting to FedDev ON and liaising with partners for reporting needs.
The coordinator will also provide support with the development of new projects, provide technical support for all research projects and supervise the activities of the CBARN network’s subprojects.

Qualifications:

• 2 year diploma, Business, accounting, finance, management, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience.
• The candidate must have strong experience in accounting and project management. Part of that experience should include reporting and accounting/networking /management – teamwork across multi-disciplined teams.
• Research experience in a biotechnology related area is considered an asset
• Experience with funding agencies and reports considered an asset
