POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Manager of Communications, the Communications Advisor is responsible for developing and executing internal and external communications strategies that support Joseph Brant Hospital’s key strategic priorities. The Advisor supports external communications, including media relations, to maintain and enhance the organization’s reputation and public trust. The Advisor is expected to build a relationship with key internal stakeholders, including Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation, and external stakeholders, including media. The Communications Advisor has excellent writing, verbal, problem-solving and strategic communication skills, as well as an ability to thrive under pressure. This is a hybrid work model, with the Communications Advisor adhering to the remote work policy.
