ParseHub Looking for Junior SEO Content Strategist (Full Time – Remote) at Toronto, ON Full Time

Note: While this is a remote position, we will prioritize candidates residing in the GTA/Ontario.

We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join our Marketing team at ParseHub.

As the Junior SEO Content Strategist, you will be in charge of researching SEO opportunities and planning content strategies for said opportunities.

We have developed a strong and sustainable SEO content strategy and we are looking to push it to the next level with the help of a new team member.

This is a full-time and remote role reporting to the Marketing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• SEO Keyword Research: You are able to use keyword research tools to identify new ranking and traffic opportunities on search and other organic channels.

• Write SEO-friendly content: You can write SEO-friendly content (mainly blog posts) that can rank on page #1 of search for a specific keyword. Driving traffic and conversions to our websites.

• Optimize content for SEO: You can review and optimize existing content as per modern SEO best practices to improve ranking and conversion performance. This includes text, meta tags, images, videos and more.

• Track Analytics and Performance: You are a data-driven individual that can use data to identify big wins and new opportunities to follow.

• Maintaining YouTube Channels: You can turn written content pieces into scripts for YouTube videos. You know how to put together simple YouTube videos that can drive traffic and conversions via Google and YouTube search (Check out our YouTube channel for reference).

Requirements

• +1 Years of SEO Content writing experience

• +1 Years of on-page and off-page SEO experience

• Ability to identify SEO opportunities and execute ideas accordingly

• College or University Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• Google Analytics Certification

• Experience with SEO Keyword Research Tools

• Familiar with Google Search Console, Google Data Studio.

• Basic video editing skills preferred (YouTube)

• Able to work remotely via Slack, Zoom, Google Docs and other online collaboration tools.
