As a member of the R&D team, you would be working in a cloud-based microservice ecosystem. Being a technology-focused company, we are looking for someone who loves learning and experimenting with new technology. We are also looking for someone who loves pushing themselves to achieve bigger and better things. We are a small company trying to do big things and every person counts.
Things you’ll be working on:
- Building Upfeat’s data infrastructure including data lake, data warehouse, data pipeline and data orchestration
- Analyzing and organizing raw data
- Preparing data for prescriptive and predictive modeling
- Exploring ways to enhance data quality and reliability
- Supporting and improving Upfeat’s MLOps platform
- Helping the business make well-informed decisions
- Receiving mentorship and infinite opportunities to learn and grow
- 1+ years of experience as Data Engineer, ML Engineer or similar position
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or other similar major
- Strong coding skills in general-purpose programming languages e.g. Python, C/C++, Java, Javascript
- Experience with distributed data processing tools like Hive, Spark, Airflow and popular ML frameworks like Tensor flow or Pytorch is preferred
- Solid knowledge in Data Analysis, Mathematics, and Statistics
- Industry experience building end-to-end Data Infrastructure is a big plus
