Position Summary:

Reporting to the Controller, the Finance Team Member will be responsible for full-cycle accounts payable functions.
Responsibilities
Responsible for Accounts Payable functions which include but is not limited to entering payables into the system, matching, coding, sorting, logging , scanning, and filing invoices, cheque, and other documents
Receive, review, and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports for compliance with financial policies, procedures, and contractual requirements
Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
Correspond with vendors, respond to inquiries, and maintain vendor files
Responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting payable activities to management
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner
Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
Become cross-trained on other administrative duties
Perform other clerical duties as required
Qualifications
2 years Accounts Payable experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficient in MS Excel and experience working with Microsoft environment (Word, Outlook, etc.)
Strong communication skills, (written and verbal) and organizational abilities
Superior time-management skills to meet deadlines handling multiple tasks simultaneously
Previous experience with accounting systems software
