MacPherson Rentals is looking for a Rentals Equipment Yard Logistics Candidate. This position offers tremendous advancement opportunities in the organization including Service Technician, Transportation Driver, or other positions within the company.

Training is provided and paid for by the company. We offer a very competitive wage and a great work environment. Ideal candidate would have experience working with construction equipment including skid steers, compact excavators, man lifts etc…

The job consists of a variety of daily activities including organizing the equipment in our yard, assisting in loading and unloading of rental equipment, washing and cleaning equipment and minor equipment maintenance.

Also:

• customer service – be able to service customers in a polite, friendly and professional manner loading/unloading various customer equipment
• snow removal on site
• lifting up to 50lbs
• inspecting and reporting any equipment damage or discrepancies
• using hand held radio for contact with front staff
• adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations in written or verbal form
• comply with government safety requirements and other safety regulations and security on site.
• attend department, store and safety meetings
• perform other work duties as requested
• maintain a co-operative working relationship with co-workers

The role is on site at MacPherson Rentals, and includes plenty of indoor and outdoor responsibilities.

The successful candidate is expected to be self motivated, but will also be working in a team environment with plenty of support from other staff.
