CIHR offices are located in Ottawa, Ontario; however, CIHR employees are currently working remotely from home. As pandemic measures ease over time, some positions may continue to be carried out remotely. You will have the opportunity to touch all facets of procurement. You will play a central role in supporting compliance with federal and CIHR procurement policies and processes through the daily and ongoing provision of technical advice related to the procurement, planning, preparation and issuance of RFX on complex files with risk assessment and mitigation strategies. Your expertise will be essential to provide policy interpretation advice and strategic direction to department management and staff, CIHR-wide. You will supervise staff, set objectives, provide feedback as part of the annual employee performance management process, and participate in the employee development plans.
