Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Total Work Hours: Starting at 30 hours per week
Pay Rate: Starting at $25.00/hr and $30.00/hr after six months completion
Location: Flexible work location – Home and office based
This role is responsible for spreading HSR’s brand awareness and taking care of all communications across a multitude of platforms both externally to existing and potential customers as well as internally to HSR staff.
This includes focusing on generating and connecting with new leads as well as making sure that the right people, organizations, and departments are receiving relevant information and being informed and updated on all the great work and activities HSR does.
The objective of this role is to further develop and expand HSR’s marketing strategy.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Generate leads through B2B connections using various forms of communications such as social media, email, and telephone
Responsible for setting up in-person/online appointments, and creating awareness of the company and its products and services for potential customers through informative PowerPoint presentations
Qualify prospective leads
Coordinate and perform general marketing activities including seasonal campaigns, general signage, brochures, project photography & create other marketing materials– online and/or digital
Coordinate website ongoing maintenance; manage digital campaigns (such as Google Ads, Email Marketing, & Social Media Ads) and Social Media platforms (strategy, design, content creation)
Assist with proposal preparation
Engage with existing and potential customers.
Work with and coordinate activities with third party marketing and social media organizations
Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally via email and phone call
Develop and update customer databases
Manage in-house CRM to prepare target lists, manage campaigns and prioritize daily activity.
Coordinate and troubleshoot in-house communication software issues
Provide Customer Service to existing clients when needed
Other Related Duties
Requirements
Post-secondary degree/diploma in Marketing or related field
2+ years experience in marketing and customer service
Experience creating and giving presentations online and in-person
Experience or interest in environment and sustainability
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Previous sales experience, particularly in an Outbound or B2B role is an asset
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
Excellent research skills to identify and verify new business opportunities
Demonstrates professionalism and integrity
Team player, with strong leadership skills, who can operate effectively within a shared leadership environment
Demonstrated proficiency of MS Office, Google Docs and similar applications
