Position: Senior Digital & Performance Marketing Specialist and Manager

Position Overview:
WELL Health is growing rapidly, and our marketing team needs to meet the demands of our business. We are hunting for a self-motivated, experienced, and passionate Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to join our nimble, “can-do” marketing team. The successful candidate will work and collaborate with a boutique-sized, passionate, and highly capable team to develop and implement digital marketing strategies. The primary responsibilities will be strategizing, planning, building/executing and actively managing performance ad campaigns, including but not limited to search engine advertising, social, etc.
This is a marketing leadership role. This candidate will define digital marketing strategy, and work with the team to develop, implement, measure, and optimize paid and organic initiatives. Collaboration with our in-house designer, content marketers, and web developers will be required.
WELL is comprised of many businesses. In fact, in the last 3 years, the company has completed dozens of acquisitions of currently operates over 25 separate businesses in 8 different business units. The successful candidate will be responsible for performance-based marketing campaigns spanning approximately 6-7+ of these WELL owned organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
The right candidate:
Handles ad campaigns from start to finish. From working with clients to analyze needs, developing a strategy, defining KPI goals and objectives, and planning new campaigns to implementing campaigns and monitoring ongoing results, you own the entire process and are WELL’s go-to subject matter expert on all things digital marketing.
Has experience doing needs analysis, defining objectives and strategies, then implementing, measuring, and optimizing digital marketing strategies with performance in mind.
Has prior agency experience or a high degree of interest in managing multiple ad accounts and the ability to work efficiently while meeting and improving key KPIs.
Can objectively make decisions based on data and guide a business and a team in how best to grow- whether it’s measuring paid, organic, social, or other digital analytics.
Can effectively run test campaigns and optimize ongoing campaigns.
Is an expert in the field of digital results-driven marketing, obsessed with quantitative results and optimizing.
Is up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Social Advertising, SEM, and performance advertising.
Is confident, tactful and has entrepreneur-level independence when speaking to internal clients and is comfortable developing business cases, budgets, and reporting to executives.
Has superb time management skills and meets deadlines.
Has a deep understanding of how to analyze different audiences, their needs, and how to communicate effectively through advertising.
Can work autonomously but also works well as a team and is good with giving and receiving constructive feedback.
Enjoys working in a fast-paced and nimble environment and produces high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Requirements:
5+ years’ experience with SEM
5+ years’ experience with Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and Twitter Ads.
Considerable experience with analytics & tracking tools like Google Analytics, GA4 and Tag Manager.
Considerable experience with primary social ad platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter). Experience with TikTok/Influencer style ad campaigns is a bonus.
Extremely technically capable especially on paid ad platforms but a highly strategic thinker.
Must be able to be tactical and ready willing and able to get “hands dirty” in the work. WELL is culturally a flat organization and everyone including senior leadership is involved in “doing the work”.
Excellent English copywriting skills and strong ability to write sales copy for ads.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
SEO experience and knowledge is an asset.
Experience with Hubspot, PowerBI or Supermetrics is an asset.
