About the Role:
In this newly created role, the Analyst, Partnerships will be responsible for conducting financial feasibility assessments and maintaining project proformas. Working closely with our VP, Partnerships & Development and other key internal stakeholders within the Development, Finance, Marketing and Construction teams, the Analyst will work to provide leadership with financial analysis, insights, valuations, projections and sensitivity analyses.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform various complex financial analyses to evaluate projects based on different performance metrics, and report on insights to provide leadership with financial projections and valuations;
Gather financial data to develop financial models and forecast capital needs for partnership opportunities;
Conduct market research to identify and source partnership opportunities;
Liaise with departments across the organization to keep project budgets, proformas and financial models up to date;
Stay informed on construction and real estate market research and trends;
Support the partnerships team in areas outside of financial analysis, such as due diligence process, market research, and business development.

The ideal candidate for the Analyst role with our partnerships team is someone who likes to be independent and has the ability to set their own direction. In order to juggle the speed of the industry and changing priorities of the department, the ability to adapt to change and be flexible will prove to be valuable. You are extremely analytical in the way you think and can think outside the box – you’re able to provide valuable perspectives to the team and would consider yourself open-minded. You are a strong and effective communicator, especially when it comes to using the language of finance and discussing complex proforma financial models.
Our Must Haves:
Alongside your financial analysis background and your analytical mindset, you should also have the following skills and qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of financial modelling and analysis experience;
Previous experience in the real estate industry will be considered an asset;
Completion of Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or business administration;
Advanced and highly proficient in Excel;
Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels;
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy;
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines;
Actively pursuing, or previously obtained a Professional Designation (CPA, MBA, CFA).
