The Logistics Coordinator
Dedicated Freight first opened its doors in 1997, the Brokerage division started in 2015 and has been a staple in the transportation industry ever since. We are looking for Logistics Coordinator candidates to assist our operational team with daily task. This is a phone based position and any candidate applying must be comfortable with talking to new people daily. The position must be able to work weekends & holidays as our drivers are rolling 365 days of the year. This could be a great start to a new career or if already in the business an opportunity to show what you are capable of.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to
Track and analyze shipments
Communicate with driver’s daily
Order entry and maintenance
Respond to customer inquiries in a timely fashion
Assist with the booking of shipments
the negotiation of Freight Rates
Requirements
· Experience in customer service will be appreciated
· Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
· Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software
· Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
strong mathematical skills is a must

COVID-19 considerations:
we have a rolling schedule that allows portions of our staff to work from home, while other portions of the team are in office. We also have safety shields for all team members attached to each desk
