ACCO Brands is seeking a Logistics Summer Student for our Mississauga, Ontario location. Reporting to the Freight and Distribution Manager, the position will provide support to our customer service team and third-party transportation partners. They will ensure the timely and accurate processing of all inquiries with expedience and proficiency, with the goal of meeting or exceeding company standards.
This opportunity will be from May through to end of August.
Responsibilities:
Respond to Customer Service department requests for proof of delivery from our transportation carriers
Work with our third-party transportation partners to facilitate order tracking
Respond to packing slip requests from our customers
Assist customer service representatives with customer returns and miss-shipments
Work with warehouses with requests for product cycle counts
Qualifications:
Able to read, write and speak English
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Able to work independently, with a strong sense of organization and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to handle stress and resolve conflicts with diplomacy and tact
Working knowledge of MS Office suite
