Overview:
We are seeking an energetic, resilient, and business outcomes-oriented Alliances Manager to identify and maximize revenue opportunities with/through a selection of strategic independent software vendor partners. Predominantly focused on North America but may be require to provide some support in EMEA and APAC regions.
This role will suit an individual who is comfortable operating independently, commercially aware, driven and goal oriented. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Partnerships, this senior individual contributor will focus on lead generation, working closely with sales, marketing, and other relevant areas in the organization to drive the multiplicative value strategic alliances can deliver. As a result, will qualify for performance-linked compensation in addition to the basic salary.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and uncover revenue opportunities for Achievers – working closely with a selection of ISV partners execute on strategies to identify and grow sales pipeline and advance relationships with them.
- Collaborate internally – with the Achievers Alliances leadership, Sales, Product Management and Marketing to execute go-to-market initiatives and execute on our business plans in order to help meet strategic goals.
- Be a trusted advisor – to ISV partners and their customers demonstrating how Recognition & Reward programs, can drive higher employee engagement addressing challenges such as: employee retention, productivity, and customer attrition.
- Build long-lasting business relationships – with business partners aiming to establish trust for productive and profitable business alliances by understanding our partners business objectives
- Manage relationships – expand and deepen relations with existing partners, leading regular business development calls, driving business engagement to deliver expected results.
- Research & recruit new partners – as this will be a minor component of the role, counting on previous experience and market relationships to add strength to the Achievers Alliances ecosystem.
- Demonstrate Achievers – work with colleagues from sales and solution consulting to convey our strengths to prospective partners.
- Contracting – lead Alliances contractual conversations/agreements with the support of internal teams e.g., Legal, Finance and sales.
- Commercials – identify mutually beneficial incentives which drive the behavior we are seeking from our strategic alliance engagements.
- Partner Enablement – work with Marketing, Sales Enablement departments to create collaterals and training sessions to educate partners at the right level regularly.
- Partner Marketing – identify and help designing joint marketing initiatives, alongside Marketing department, aiming to identify leads for the sales organization.
- Business Reviews – run regular business reviews with partners to assess results against goals and agree plan for the subsequent fiscal year.
- Extend our product offering – by identifying strategic integrations, new use cases and service partnerships.
Qualifications & Skills:
- B2B Partnerships experience, preferably with an established network in the HCM industry.
- Entrepreneurial spirit. Self-motivated, results-focused, creative and determined.
- Ability work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results successfully in a highly competitive market.
- Solid 5+ years proven experience leading partner sales or alliances development in the Independent Software Vendor SaaS environment.
- Commercially savvy with an ability to think and act strategically.
- Comfortable presenting to new partners and at C-Suite level.
- Strong relationship builder, good communicator, and ability to influence across technical and business functions.
- High attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s or equivalent, additional qualifications such as MBA would be an asset.

As part of our commitment to the US Pay Transparency Legislation, Achievers will follow all local Pay Transparency Laws and Regulations. Actual starting pay is determined by several factors, including work-location, relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
Compensation Range: US$129,000 – $169,000 (OTE) and commissions
