Advanced Talent Solutions is seeking a qualified Senior Accountant for our client, a Vancouver-based accounting company. Job Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include:

1. Preparation and Review of Engagement Files: Handle compilation and review engagement files. An expanding role includes the review of compilation files.
2. Tax Responsibilities: Prepare income tax returns for individuals, corporations, and trusts.
3. Year-End Files: Complete full year-end files, managing the process from start to finish.
4. Public Company Quarters Preparation: Experience in this area is preferred but not necessary.

Experience and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a public practice firm.
• Experience with completing full year-end files.
• Experience in preparing individual and corporate taxes.
• Experience in preparation of public company quarters (preferred but not required).
• High-level students with solid experience may also be considered.

Certifications:

CPA is required, but other certifications are not explicitly necessary.

Working Hours and Location:

• The nature of accounting work requires adherence to deadlines, leading to overtime, evenings, and scheduled Saturdays (6-hour shifts).
• Banked time will be repaid during Christmas and over the summer.
• This position is location-specific in Vancouver Downtown, and remote work is not mentioned.
