Position: HVAC Coordinator and Estimator

Location: Southern Ontario (Non-Field Position)

Job Summary: As an HVAC Coordinator and Estimator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our HVAC projects and providing accurate cost estimates. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including project managers, technicians, and clients, to facilitate seamless project execution and deliver exceptional customer service. This is a non-field position based in Southern Ontario.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers to assess project requirements and develop comprehensive HVAC project plans.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Liaise with clients to gather project specifications and address any concerns or inquiries.
• Review project proposals and contracts, ensuring alignment with company standards and client expectations.
• Schedule and coordinate HVAC technicians’ activities to maximize efficiency and meet project deadlines.
• Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records of project details, including costs, timelines, and materials used.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure adherence to industry standards and company guidelines.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in the HVAC field.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC coordination and estimation.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation practices.
• Proven expertise in preparing accurate cost estimates for HVAC projects.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Proficiency in computer software and applications related to HVAC coordination and estimation.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
