Job Overview

This position will support Small C Change Management for investment, middle office, and all finance and operations areas. This includes being a critical part of the initiative intake, triage, prioritization and execution process. This individual will work with various stakeholders to coordinate execution, provide status updates and help determine the appropriate course of actions to meet business needs. This role will also support the ownership of Calypso, Charles Rivers and Eagle, which includes serving as a resource to understand downstream impacts of changes to these systems.

Responsibilities

• Work with Finance and Operations areas to find and solve potential efficiency opportunities.
• Work closely with Manager, Investment Change Management and Director Middle Office to enable and execute Small “c” changes.
• Build a strong knowledge base in Eagle, CRTS, and Calypso.
• Provide an initial review and assessment of change requests to ensure they fall within the middle office’s mandate.
• Support the building of end-to-end investment process knowledge and documentation of AIMCo’s investment workflow.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Bachelors / Graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics
• 3+ years experience in a finance, or investment management
• Working towards or more relevant professional certifications such as: CFA or CPA, and certified Scrum Product Owner (Agile Methodology).
• PMP, ProSci, BA certification, Lean 6Sigma, or CAIA certifications is a nice to have
• Knowledge of investment systems such as Charles River, Calypso, SimCorp Dimension (SCD) with strong Financial markets, Derivatives and data knowledge.
• Knowledge of Lean6Sigma methodology or other operational efficiency techniques.
• Knowledge of Lean6Sigma methodology
• Workflow mapping
• Knowledge of investment systems (Eagle, SimCorp, CRTS, Calypso, FactSet)
• Business technology best practices
• Agile methodology
• Knowledge of procurement process including RFP and RFI
• Strong presentation skills and ability to tailor technical matters to respective audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft products, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, PowerBI, SQL server and other relevant tools.
