Reporting to the Managing Director, Global Partnerships & Total Rewards, the Manager, Human Resources Business Center is a critical role that is responsible for leading and managing the HR Business Center which is the first point of contact for all HR inquiries for the entire employee lifecycle. This includes, but is not limited to, compensation, benefits, payroll, relocation, and training. Research, designs, and implements best people practices, policies and procedures ensuring a consistent application across all AIMCo locations.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and coordinates the operations and activities related to the Human Resources Business Center and functions across the organization.
• Leads a team of HR professionals (Co-ordinator and Administrative Support) by providing coaching, mentorship, and development.
• Supports HR colleagues to resolve HR issues, interprets people practices, policies and recommends effective course of action.
• Provides leadership in coordinating activities and providing consistent interpretation/application for the HR division to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, policies, regulations, and employment standards.
• Provides leadership and oversees employee information collection, analysis and reporting; oversight of input of data and ensures data integrity.
• Assesses HR operational needs and revises people practices and policies to ensure efficiencies and seamless delivery of services to all employees. Assists in the development of the divisional strategic plan for all operational activity.
• Manages and assists employees in planning and overseeing the logistics associated with their relocations across the globe (including work visa process).
• Implements, monitors and manages client service levels to ensure the best possible employee experience is attained
• Assists with annual HR related programs (e.g. performance management, compensation and promotion cycle).
• Assist with other HR related projects as required.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Post-Secondary degree or diploma in a discipline related to Human Resources or 5+ years HR related experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) (preference will be given to candidates with experience in Workday modules).
• Possesses a high level of accountability and proven capability to identify opportunities, take initiative and think through future implications.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Creative, analytical, and detail-oriented.
• Demonstrated ability to invite diverse perspectives, promote an inclusive work environment and support workforce diversity.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Software
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a strong ability to facilitate and resolve issues.
• Demonstrated ability to be innovative, take initiate, lead, and manage change.
