Missions and Responsibilities

The main object and purpose of this position is to provide support to the business unit in terms of Financial & Operations analysis and to propose, set-up and track the subsequent action plans.
Main missions:
In collaboration with the Business Unit Operations leadership :
Provides key support towards operational and data analysis tasks related to the industrial performance in Canada
Organizes, manages and reports/communicates data for industrial and financial operations performance
Tracks and reports monthly key performance indicators as defined by the Operations leadership.
Financial administrative duties include Spend tracking (maintenance budget, etc), and ACE tracking
In collaboration with the Business Unit Operations Controller :
Support the monthly closure process to ensure correct P&L on the assigned scope
Analyzes and process data from financial system
Processes data, builds relevant analysis and transforms data into adapted financial results, to insure a good understanding of the results
Perform operational and financial analysis ensuring business profitability; present findings and recommendations to managers
Builds dashboards using Business Intelligence tools
Responsible and updates standard costs and transfer costs.
Assists financial accounting teams
Verifies the accuracy of bills and of compiled costs. Ensures the strict conformity to contracts regarding pricing, billing method and other contractual terms. Ensures the follow-up of accounts receivable.
Works with his/her team and other multifunctional teams to continuously improve financial processes. Develops financial systems and efficient procedures to meet the needs of the group and for a more efficient analysis of performance
