The Administrative Support VI – Clerical Office Coordinator for Home Care Office supervises the clerical teams, and plays a lead role in day to day facilities management within a lease agreement. As a valued member of the Home Care network management team, you will work collaboratively to develop and support the clerical staff. The Clerical Office Coordinator (COC) provides all aspects of operational management to the Southeast Admin Team. This includes staffing (scheduling, leave requests, obtaining coverage), assignment of workload, recruitment/ orientation of new staff, coaching/performance management of staff and the oversight of numerous processes necessary to support clinical operations.
As an Administrative Support VI, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. diploma in business or office administration, specialized external certification).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Formal secretarial training is required. Supervisory experience is required. Advanced knowledge and experience with computer systems and standard software applications and AHS systems is essential. Superior oral and written communication skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and commitment to customer service are essential to success in this challenging position. Must demonstrate excellent organizational and decision-making skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively. Ability to take initiative and handle a variety of assignments with attention to detail required. Ability to effectively manage and prioritize work and deal with changing priorities and difficult issues in a sensitive, confidential and timely manner. Physical demands of the job include sitting for extended periods, lifting office/medical supplies and equipment weighing up to 30lbs, using repetitive motions, lifting, bending, reaching and standing for prolonged periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Meditech and CCLD would be an asset. Experience with advanced telecommunication systems is preferred. Data management experience would be an asset.
