Description:
Inputs, tracks, monitors, and verifies all financial aspects for projects (e.g. variance reporting, funding approvals, contractual documentation, payment of services, budget forecasts), and monitors corresponding consultant performance for adherence to contractual obligations. Provides and drafts reports and briefings to internal and external stakeholders (e.g., project status, cash flow projections, cost and budget information, schedule, and deliverables). Assists in the preparation of project requests for proposals, plans, and documents/reports (e.g., project charters, business process procedures, training materials). Maintains and updates database(s) with enhanced functionality that enables the department to store and retrieve large, interrelated, or correlated collections of information. Gathers information, runs queries on a variety of items, analyzes, and summarizes data. Performs literature searches/research, seeks information on best practice and evidence. Participates in the development of re-engineering and other project strategies and plans and supervises the execution of project deliverables. Provides consultative services and supports system developers/analysts in the design of effective business solutions. Develops work plans, testing plans and scripts, schedules, project estimates and implementation plans.

Required Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration. Project planning, monitoring, and management skills, with a focus on process design and transition management.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills (written and oral), including strong presentation skills. Strong knowledge and understanding of AHS’ People strategy. Ability to positively influence, negotiate and to obtain commitment of others. Ability to function under pressure on several projects simultaneously and to meet timeframes. Demonstrated ability to manage and consider sensitivities and interests of diverse stakeholders. Detail-oriented, strong organizational, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize work. Ability to perform complex and diverse duties requiring independent judgement and confidentiality while demonstrating initiative. Ability to work independently and as a team member of a project team. Advanced technical skills working with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Mural).
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of AHS systems, policies and processes and general office policies and procedures are an asset. Human Resources and Project Management certification is preferred. CHRP certification or progress towards certification is also preferred. A combination of experience and education may be considered.
