Job Summary:
The Corporate Accountant maintains financial records to ensure compliancy with laws, regulations and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
· Data analysis to support business decision-making.
· Prepares financial, budgeting and forecast reporting.
· Assists in monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
· Analyzes finances to determine risks and creates forecasts.
· Assist in external and internal audits.
· Foreign currency translations.
· Cash management activities.
· Account reconciliations.
· Inventory accounting.
· Revenue and expense accounting.
· Insurance claim reconciliations.
Skills, Abilities and Experience:
· BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or related field.
· Working towards or completion of a professional designation in Accounting.
· 3 years’ experience as a Corporate Accountant.
· Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and practices.
· In-depth experience in risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
· Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
· Confidentiality, discretion and diplomacy on all business matters.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Capable of identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner.
· Business minded with strong analytical skills.
