Job Description

To prepare food production for service within the Food Services department following all par stocks while maintaining hygienic work area.
The incumbent will assist in stocking and cleaning of area tools when necessary.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Washes, cuts, and properly stores food items as per directions and/or par stocks while ensuring a clean and sanitized work area;
- Ensures proper labels are utilized for items;
- Stocks product, sweeps area, empties garbage, and washes location dishes when required.
Required Qualifications
- Secondary School (Grade 12) diploma;
- Experience in a food service related industry and knowledge of food preparation an asset;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi task;
- Ability to work independently and/or in a team atmosphere;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure;
- Ability of providing speedy, efficient, courteous and tactful service;
- Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and stock a variety of merchandise;
- Ability to work flexible hours if required.
Anticipated Weekly Schedule
Monday to Thursday: 7:00AM – 12:00PM
Friday 7:00AM – 11:00AM

This is a nine (8) month position with an annual lay off period of up to three (4) months.
