Our team is growing and we are actively looking to hire an Inside Sales Agent.
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, Customer Contact Centre, you will be responsible for nurturing sales from existing customers and achieving outbound sales activity targets, selling Allstate home and auto insurance products.
The hours our contact centre is open are: Monday to Thursday from 7am – 11pm ET, Friday 7am to 10:30pm ET, Saturday 9am to 5pm ET and Sunday 11am to 7pm ET.

Accountabilities
Effectively respond to inbound sales calls and emails (quick quotes and Kanetic Leads) providing customers with appropriate products and accurate quotes in accordance with Allstate Canada Groups underwriting guidelines
Action outbound direct sales initiatives which include requotes, win-backs, leveraging renewals, strategic partnership opportunities
Consistently achieve monthly individual sales targets and comply with quality targets as established by the organization
Complete and submit accurate and timely tracking reports to Inside Sales Manager within an established timeline
Obtain and maintain agent licenses for provinces that the Customer Contact Centre operates business
Adhere to assigned work schedule and direct sales assignments
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education and/or relevant work experience
Must have OTL Insurance License or willing to obtain
Proven direct sales experience is a must
Insurance industry experience such as underwriting, marketing, claims is an asset
Knowledge of Allstate’s technology, core products and knowledge of third party strategic partner products offered through the Customer Contact Centre is an asset
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to quickly build trust and effectively understand customers’ needs and requirements, must be strong in closing and meeting sales targets
Ability to comprehend data such as direct sales metrics, score cards and financial reports
Ability to multi-task, to meet targets and deadlines under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to support colleagues across the organization to build and maintain positive work relationships
Proven ability to adapt to changing work processes and support the business changes within a continuous improvement mindset
Extensive knowledge of telephone sales processes including needs based presentation, handling objections, closing and cross sell/ up sell techniques
