As a Supply Chain Officer, you will respond to customer requirements (internal and external) and act quickly on demands. You will direct your efforts to maximize the customer experience in accordance with the policies and ordering guidelines established by the company. You will primarily assist customers based on your assigned accounts and seasonal customer segments.
Responsibilities
-Maintain professional, timely and effective communication with all partners.
-Process orders and requests in accordance with company procedures and propose improvements to procedures and processes.
-Provide accurate and timely information to customer inquiries about products.
-Enter and process customer orders/changes based on company policies and procedures.
-Work with cross-functional teams to resolve customer complaints, credits, deductions if necessary.
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, customers, processes and suppliers.
-Offer alternative and additional products if possible.
-Remain fully flexible to meet business requirements and demands.
Qualifications
-1 to 3 years of previous experience in a customer-oriented environment, in a B2B or B2C environment.
-Ideally university studies but experience will be considered instead of the degree.
-Basic knowledge of computer applications such as SAP, AS400, Word, Excel, Outlook.
-Strong data entry skills.
-Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Able to create, foster and maintain strong and positive business relationships at all levels.
-Ability to attract confidences and interact at all levels within the organization.
– Ability to work independently as well as through a functional or matrix team structure.
-Possess intermediate analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including good grammar, tone of voice and diction.
-Strong organizational and administrative skills.
-Excellent team spirit.
-A strong desire for continuous learning and a desire to grow professionally.
-Have good spoken and written French, and functional English.
