Our prominent Non-Profit client with offices in the Newmarket area are actively seeking 2 (two) HR Coordinators to assist their growing team! This opportunity is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of HR experience, or someone with equivalent education from a post secondary institution. The opportunity is available as a 1 Year Contract AND a Permanent opportunity. This opportunity is HYBRID and offers a fantastic 80% WFH / 20% On site split. Apply today!

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment efforts including developing job postings, sourcing and screening candidates and assisting with interviews
• With assistance from the HR Advisor, assist with student and volunteer placement selection processes
• Completing onboarding duties including collecting candidate information, confirming credentials and obtaining verification documents
• Update and maintain all employee, candidate and applicant files and ensure accuracy
• Other administrative and Human Resources tasks as required

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-2 Years in an HR Coordinator, HR Admin, HR Advisor or Recruitment role OR:
• 1-2 Years of office administration experience WITH successful completion of post secondary education in Human Resources (or related field)

Education

• Post Secondary completion of Human Resources (or similar) diploma or degree

Must Have

• VSS Clearance (Altis can help with this process at time of offer)
• The successful candidate will be vaccinated as a condition of employment as part of the organization’s legal obligation under Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and that the vaccination requirement is subject to the employer’s duty to accommodate under applicable human rights legislation
