4+ years of professional software development experience

3+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language

2+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems

Experience as a mentor, tech lead OR leading an engineering team

Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Python, Java, C#, or Python including object-oriented design

The Amazon Logistics Last Mile Planning Technology team is building solutions that directly and immediately impact our community on a daily basis. We are building the next generation planning system to plan and execute deliver of millions of packages per day. As a Software Development Engineer on the Amazon Logistics Last Mile Planning Technology team, your software and services will deliver solutions that will manage the workflows, storage, and calculations for demand and capacity plans that will allow us to improve customer experience. You will provide technical leadership, architectural guidance and mentorship cross-functionally to implement the next generation of planning, and be a key driver on the team’s technical and operational excellence. Our engineers actively listen to customers, work as a team, and proactively solve problems .
