Operates Anna’s Studio front desk and keeps a tidy, clean salon and work stations for stylists.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Greet clients in a friendly manner when they walk in the door, before they even step off the front mat.
Keep work stations clean and organized and sanitize tools according rules and regulations.
Cleans and sweeps salon during shift.
Answer phone calls in a welcoming, and professional way.
Schedule appointments by phone or in person.
Client check-in and check-out.
Manage flow of client appointments and move appointments on schedule as necessary.
Offer discount cards or any special offers to support sales goals.
Creates Baby’s First Haircut certificates.
Update and maintain customer information records.
Operate cash register and Point of Sale system to receive customer payments.
Sell and maintain knowledge on hair care products and accessories.
Take constructive criticism positively and respectfully, following guidelines.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

1-2 years of customer service experience.
Must be able to make change for cash payments. Most transactions are credit card transactions, but making change is an important part of the job.
Reports to salon manager and takes direction from assigned shift lead when required.
Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
Must be team oriented and support stylist staff.
