The General Laborer will be involved in specific civil division projects and/or the landscaping phase of Milestones civil construction projects.

Duties & Responsibilities – What is my role?
- Complete & assist in physical labor on site, capable of lifting 50lbs
- Actively and consistently prepare sites by cleaning, loading or unloading materials, and removing hazards
- Operate and care for small tools, equipment and machines
- Assist field staff and provide support when needed
- Report and communicate with site Foreperson and/or Superintendent to ensure clear understanding of work at hand and expectations of the day/week
- Report any/all unsafe work, incidents and/or concerns to Foreperson and/or Superintendent
Qualifications & Requirements – What skills & qualifications do I need?
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to do extensive physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
- Ability to work in all weather.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Friendly, positive, and open attitude, always willing to learn and improve.
- Ability to work and communicate within a team.
- Help promote and work within a culture of jobsite safety, where safety is everyone’s #1 priority.
- Experience in the construction industry is an asset.
- Ability to consistently complete daily safety documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
