At Array Marketing, we are on a transformation journey to build upon our 40-years of experience designing, engineering and developing retail environment and merchandising solutions for global retail partners like Estee Lauder, Sephora and Samsung to name a few.
Who we need
We are looking for a Consultant of Strategy and Transformation to work alongside our Sr. Director of Strategy and Transformation, our Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and our private equity partners Oaktree Capital and Carlyle Group. In this critical role, you’ll directly impact highly visible priorities by leading analysis and planning and executing a long-term growth strategy and business transformation. You have a few years working as a business consultant for a consulting firm. You are ready to build upon your experience managing growth and change, and to lead with knowledge, drive, and curiosity.
This role will be a hybrid role out of our Toronto Headquarters, with approximately 50% of time remote, 25% in person in Toronto, and 25% spent travelling to our other global offices (NYC, Mexico City, London, Paris, Warsaw).
What’s in it for you
Ownership, growth, and impact. This is a true path to leadership, starting with the opportunity to develop and implement strategies that will influence the organization’s current and future success. You’ll expand into a senior role with reach and get hands-on experience guiding an exciting transformation. As we continue to innovate, turning to you for ideas, we see limitless potential for growth for both the company and your career.
What you’ll do
Develop enterprise-wide strategies, processes, and transformation projects. You will:
Operate as a thought partner with the Sr. Director of Strategy & Transformation to support projects and initiatives that impact all areas of the business, in all geographies, from creation to completion.
Conduct highly complex analyses and communicate results to guide business decisions including commercial growth, operations investments, and M&A activities.
Contribute to the design and development of 3-5 year corporate strategy plans, Board of Directors presentations, regional (Americas, EMEA, APAC) business reviews, M&A evaluations, and other business transformation reports.
Build and maintain key relationships with private equity partners.
What you bring
The education and the experience. You have a university degree and 2+ years of management consulting experience with demonstrated growth. You have real-world experience contributing to and executing corporate transformations and growth strategies, ideally in CPG, Retail, or Manufacturing. You can conduct complex quantitative analyses and clearly communicate data-based insights. You thrive in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment where you can effectively introduce strategic transformation.
The interpersonal skills. You have professional, flexible, and effective communication skills. You build strong relationships at every level of an organization, acting as a trusted advisor and influencing decision-makers, including the Executive Leadership Team. You engage your audiences and instill confidence and credibility.
The project management. You are innovative, curious, and driven. You can balance priorities, pay attention to the details, and never lose sight of the big picture. You have a bias for action and comfort operating under tight deadlines. You have strong business acumen and can execute a strategy from the ground up, leading to design and development of transformational initiatives that align with the organization’s goals.
