Job Description Title – HR Administrative Assistant Tenure –Ongoing, Contract Location – Mississauga, ON Hours – 8 am – 4 pm/ 9 am – 5 pm (40 hours/week) Pay Rate – $21- $25/hr. Workplace Type – Onsite Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including conducting compliance checks, maintaining employee records, managing HR documents, and updating staff information into internal databases.
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and assisting with onboarding new employees.
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and managing HR correspondence.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team and other departments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Assist with HR activities specific to a healthcare setting, such as credentialing, compliance with healthcare regulations, and supporting clinical staff recruitment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR assistant, HR administrative assistant, or relevant administrative role.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficient with the Ceridian Dayforce software.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
