Title – Project Manager

Tenure – Full Time, Contract

Location – Alberta (Calgary preferred)

Pay Rate – $70 – $90/hr.

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of implementation, ensuring the project is on time, on-budget and provides the highest level of customer satisfaction. Specializing in Radiology and Cardiology IT products, he/she will be the key point of contact for Project management, Customer sign-off and revenue recognition. Provides support for customers and sales specialists as well as interfacing with other stakeholders, such as service, logistics, and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

• Oversees execution and completion of information technology solutions projects or project portfolios.
• Manages client relationships ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Oversees performance of the installation and client acceptance of capitalized equipment, enterprise software system, or system integration project or engagement.
• Provides labour planning and coordination of activities between client and company personnel.
• Monitors project completion from initiation through delivery to meet revenue.
• Assigns and leads team to ensure the efficient operation of the project(s).
• Provides guidance to colleagues within the latitude of established company policies.
• Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).
• Analyses and evaluates situations and/or data and provides recommendations on a variety of topics to facilitate a positive customer outcome, including an understanding of informatics product lines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related industry discipline and at least 8 years related experience and/or equivalent related experience/education.
• Medical IT healthcare background required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or above PMI Certification.
• Working knowledge of Radiology and Cardiology PACS and related information systems.
• Working knowledge of medical imaging systems, display hardware and software.
• Working knowledge of DICOM standards.
• Advanced knowledge of various network protocols.
• Proficiency in creating procedures and technical documentation.
• Ability to provide leadership and guidance to peers and customers.
• Advance user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access), VISO, and MS Project
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills in a team environment.
