Position Overview As a Business Development Representative (BDR) you will be an integral part of our sales team, helping grow Race Roster’s customer base.
You will support the Account Executives by setting qualified appointments through a custom prospecting approach that includes pre-research, calls, emails, vidyards, and more. Day-to-day, you will be the vital link between our leads and our business objectives, by initiating customer connections, supporting the sales team with lead generation, and ensuring the successful completion of sales prospecting KPIs. This position requires flexibility as we respond to new business and customer requirements, while being able to quickly adapt to new strategies and priorities as they evolve. This position is open to internal and external candidates.
Product Line This role will be working with the Race Roster product. Work Location The successful candidate for this role can be either a satellite employee (working 100% remotely from a designated location within Canada or US), a hybrid employee (flexibility to work in the office or from home at a location within 75km/75 miles from theLondon, ON/Boston, MA office), an in office employee at our London, ON/Boston, MA office. Responsibilities • Cold calling and qualifying leads for Account Executives • Cleanse and fill in gaps within Salesforce accounts • Make edits to existing Race Roster events pages • Source lead lists and potential leads from the internet to add to Salesforce • Ensure leads, along with mandatory leads fields, are accurate in Salesforce • Qualify leads and craft a custom prospecting sequence for each • Prospect a minimum number of leads per week as agreed upon by your Sales Manager • Achieve and surpass sales prospecting key performance indicators (KPIs) as agreed upon with your Sales Manager • Achieve minimum qualified appointment setting targets; • Keep abreast of the endurance industry as it relates to the Race Roster products • Understand current Race Roster technology and continue to learn new features as they are released • Meaningfully participate in diversity and inclusion initiatives across the ASICS Apps teams Education & Experience • 1 – 2 years of inside sales experience • 1 – 3 years’ experience in a professional services environment • 1 year of cold calling experience (any type) • Proficient in target-based environments (KPI’s) • Tech-savvy • Strong customer service skills • Strong organization and data management skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Previous work experience with Salesforce/Marketing Cloud platforms strongly preferred Bonus Education & Experience • Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or higher is a preference • Relevant Industry Experience Performance Measures • Effective completion of assigned tasks • Efficient use of time and resources • Continuously learning and improving in your role • Quality of work performed • Ability to communicate effectively with other employees at all levels of the organization • Ability to meet targeted metrics and KPIs as assigned by the Sales Manager The successful candidate for this role will become an employee of Race Roster North America Corporation (doing business as ASICS Apps Canada), a subsidiary of ASICS Corporation, a Japanese multinational corporation.
