Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Automotive Machinist at Astro Automotive And Machine. As an Automotive Machinist, your day-to-day tasks will involve machining and rebuilding engines, inspecting and testing engine components, diagnosing and troubleshooting engine issues, and collaborating with the team to ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in engine rebuilding and machining
- Ability to inspect and test engine components
- Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting engine issues
- Knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Relevant certification or diploma in automotive technology or machining
- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus
