Atlas Power Technologies is a Canadian cleantech company located in Abbotsford, British Columbia, and is focused on manufacturing supercapacitors for grid-scale storage. We have developed a world-leading supercapacitor energy storage device to meet the global needs for energy storage, which will soon be brought to market. We are seeking a Bookkeeper and Payroll Administrator who will be primarily involved on day to day bookkeeping of the Company.
Responsibilities
- Record financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner in QuickBooks Online
- Keep track of payments, receivables, inventory, and revenue
- Prepare journal entries, AP summary, receiving documents, and reconciliation
- Prepare purchase orders and correspond with vendors on the same subject
- Prepare payroll, GST, WCB, T4s, tax deductions, and remittance
- Administer employee onboarding and benefits plan of the Company
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements and maintain general ledger
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Liaison with Big 4 audit firm in the audit season
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
- Work on ERP implementation
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks
- Strong organizational and analytical skills Detail oriented
