We are looking for a automotive technician with all range of experience. Looking for someone that has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, works well on their own or on a team and has exceptional customer service skills. The mechanic must be good at diagnosing vehicles and have good problem-solving skills. For someone who is looking to enter the field we will train the right candidate. All levels of individuals needed. Can apply in person or email.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all levels of routine automotive maintenance services and inspections, small and large
- Provide accurate repairs and solutions
- Complete test drives
- Maintain clean workspace and respectful use of company tools and computers
- Complete and maintain documentation of work performed.
- Road-test vehicles to quality-check work performed.
- Ensure that customers’ cars are kept clean.
- Comply with Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes
- Keep shop area neat, clean and free of safety hazards.
- This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Must have a red seal certification
- Working knowledge of automotive equipment
- Possess strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in order to maintain optimal customer satisfaction.
- A highly self-motivated and organized individual.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills to effectively work with other members of the Service Department team.
- Must be committed to consistently delivering high quality work.
- Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
- A valid British Columbia driver’s license
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $52,000.00-$72,800.00 per year
