General Description:
This position is responsible for managing and organizing office operations including answering phones, mail, coordinating meetings, and managing office supplies as well and various daily office responsibilities. Assisting with project coordination along with possible support to contracts, proposals and employee onboarding. Assignments vary in nature from simple and routine to complex and diverse. Work is often performed independently and as a functional, technical or administrative coordinator of office assignments.
Education, Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
College diploma or equivalent experience required; 4-year degree preferred.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to coordinate, manage, and improve detailed office processes with inputs from multiple sources.
Ability to complete tasks in a thorough, accurate, confidential and timely manner.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to deliver consistent and reliable results.
Extreme attention to detail is a must.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Ability to work as team member and independently.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Must present a positive and professional image.
Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Must posses a sense of urgency.
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
Must have a positive customer service attitude.
Essential Duties:
Perform detailed and confidential administrative activities requiring analytical application and independent judgment
Assist with employee onboarding
Conduct new hire orientation programs and create orientation packets
Assist with administration of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements.
Maintain employee source records
Assist with maintaining and enhancing employee relations; assist with various company meetings and social events.
Assist with administrative support and special projects as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
Office environment with occasional trips to the warehouse/shop floor. Overtime potentially required.
Physical Demands:
Able to sit, stand, and type for long periods. Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
